Who processes your data

What data we collect, and what for
Only what you type into the waiting list form: name, email and, if you want, phone number. They are used for one single thing: to tell you when the school has an opening date and its first places. They are not used for third-party advertising, they are not cross-referenced with other databases and they are not sold.
If you create an account
You can create an account with the same email you signed up with, to see your details, change them, check how many people you have brought in with your code and close the account yourself. You sign in with a password you choose; if you cannot remember it, we email you a link that expires in one hour and works only once, and you set a new one from there. For that we store, on top of the above, your encrypted password, the date you verified your email and the last time you signed in. While your session is open, your browser keeps a technical cookie whose only job is to avoid asking for your password on every page; it measures nothing, does not track you, and disappears when you leave.
On what legal basis
Your consent (art. 6.1.a GDPR), which you give by ticking the box on the form. We keep the date and time you gave it, because the regulation requires us to be able to prove it. You can withdraw it whenever you like, and that does not affect any earlier processing.
How long we keep them
Until we tell you about the opening and you decide whether you are interested, or until you ask us to delete them. If the school project does not go ahead, they are deleted anyway.
Who else sees them
Nobody else, apart from the technical providers needed to keep the site running (server and database hosting), which act as data processors and can only use them to provide us with that service. What you type into the form does not leave the European Economic Area, and it is not shared with Google or with any measurement tool. If you accept analytics, usage data (pages viewed, country, device type) is processed by Google Ireland Limited, with transfers to the United States covered by the adequacy decision for the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your data, for it to be corrected or deleted, for processing to be restricted, for your data to be ported, and you can object to processing. Write to info@escolanauticablanes.com and we'll sort it out. The first two you don't even have to ask for: if you have an account, your profile shows what we hold, you correct it yourself, and there is a button that deletes the lot without going through us. If you think we have not done it properly, you can complain to the Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, the Spanish data protection authority (aepd.es).
Cookies
This site uses no advertising cookies, it does no profiling and it does not follow you around other websites. We do measure how many people visit the page and where they arrive from, with Google Analytics, and only if you accept it in the notice that appears the first time. Until you accept, Analytics runs in restricted mode: it writes no cookies and stores no identifiers in your browser, and it only counts visits in aggregate. If you change your mind, clear this site's data in your browser and the notice will appear again.
