Whoever signs up with it gets 10 % off when they take the course; you get yours on boat hire at Costa Brava Rent a Boat, the sister company in the same group. Two different currencies on purpose: the course you take once, and hiring a boat you don't.

What each of you gets

How it is shared
The code appears when you sign up, on the same screen and in the email you get. In your account there is a button that opens WhatsApp with the message already written: you send it, from your phone, to whoever you like. The school writes to nobody.
Your friend arrives at the waiting list with the code already filled in and only has to sign up. From then on, your account shows how many people have signed up with it and how many have enrolled — the count, never their names: that is their business.
If you have already hired with us
Anyone who has ever hired with Costa Brava Rent a Boat gets that same 10 % off the course with no code needed. We check it against the phone number you booked with, so all you have to do is give us that one.
If you booked with a different number, or the booking was in somebody else's name, email us at info@escolanauticablanes.com and we'll look into it by hand.
The conditions
- Only one 10 % discount applies to the course. The code discount and the Costa Brava Rent a Boat customer discount do not stack: if you have both, you keep one.
- Your hire discount has a ceiling: 30 %. From the second friend who takes the course, it stops going up.
- It is personal and tied to your phone number. It cannot be transferred or sold, and forwarding your code does not pass your discount to anybody else.
- The discounts apply once the school opens and there are course dates. Today enrolment is not open and there is no published price.
- The hire discount is applied by Costa Brava Rent a Boat on its licence-class boats, and it stays with you as long as you keep hiring: it doesn't expire.
- If you ask us to delete you from the waiting list, your code stops working at that moment. It is your data, and deleting it deletes all of it.
Questions about the discounts
How do I get my code?
By signing up to the waiting list. The code appears on the same screen when you sign up, and in the email you get. If you signed up a while ago and can't find it, log in to your account: it's there, next to the button that sends it by WhatsApp.
Does the code expire, or have a limit on uses?
No and no. The waiting-list code is multi-use and doesn't expire: send it to as many people as you like and it still works. What does have a ceiling is your hire discount, which stops at 30 %.
Do the course discounts stack?
No. Only one 10 % discount applies to the course: if you come with somebody's code, that's the one; if you have no code but you have already hired with Costa Brava Rent a Boat, the customer one applies. Never both at once.
I have already hired with Costa Brava Rent a Boat. Do I need to do anything?
Give us the same phone number you booked with: that is how we check it. If you hired with a different number, or in somebody else's name, email us at info@escolanauticablanes.com and we'll look into it by hand.
When do these discounts apply?
Once the school opens and you can enrol. Today there are no course dates and no published price: what you can do now is sign up and share your code, and your account keeps count of who you have brought in.
What if my friend was already on the list?
Their sign-up isn't duplicated: we still hold a single email address for them. The code counts whoever signs up with it for the first time, so if they were already on the list it doesn't add up.
Do you write to the people I invite?
No. The message goes from your WhatsApp, with the text already written, and you are the one who sends it. The school writes to nobody who hasn't asked for it: whoever signs up does it themselves, with their consent and their tick box.
